Residents, alumni, businesses and community or civic organizations can become involved in the affairs of the Manheim Township Educational Foundation in several ways. Such involvement is consistent with the organizing goal that the foundation is a school-community enterprise.

Members of the community can become involved
through these and other ways:

• By making contributions of cash, securities, or property to MTEF. All contributions are tax-deductible.
• By making contributions of cash or securities to the Jean Hoadley Peterson Memorial Fund
• By contributing to the Louise Weaver Engle Memorial Fund
• By making contributions of teaching or construction materials and supplies through MTEF to the School District.
• By volunteering to serve as guest lecturers in the classroom, or to instruct teachers and staff in a specific area that can be carried over into a classroom or laboratory experience for students.
• By arranging to invite groups of students to visit, on field trips, off-campus sites of special interest.
• By volunteering to serve on various permanent or advisory committees and boards of the foundation and the School District.

Employees of M. T. School District can help raise funds for the Grants Program by having $1 or $2 deducted from each pay check. Contact Us for more information

Businesses can become involved through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program by contributing tax-deductible dollars to MTEF. Such donations will result in a sizable tax credit to your business and will fund exciting projects for the students of Manheim Township that would not have otherwise received financial support from school tax dollars.
