Trauma-Informed Care – Valuing Wellness in Schools and the Workforce
Join us for our virtual Education Forecast Breakfast as we present this year's topic Trauma-Informed Care - Valuing Wellness in Schools and the Workforce. We will hear about the importance of creating a trauma-informed environment; how it benefits communication and employee productivity in the workforce; and develops soft skills and social/emotional wellness.
Keynote speaker Melanie G. Snyder, and our panelists will discuss trauma-informed care and best practices from the perspective of educators, parents, and businesses. The panelists for the event are Anna Brendle Kennedy, Executive Director of Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation, Sharon Schaefer, Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction for Manheim Township School District, Dr. Pia Fenimore, Division Chief of Pediatrics at Lancaster General Penn Medicine, and Matt Pfeiffenberger VP of heath Benefits Division for Murray.
This virtual event will be held on November 11 from 8:00 am - 9:15 am. A link to join the Education Forecast Breakfast will be emailed to ticket holders prior to the event.

The Education Forecast Breakfast exists to highlight exciting trends in education, connect with the business community, and act as a fundraiser for the Manheim Township Educational Foundation. Funds raised from this event are used for grants to enhance academic, athletic and artistic opportunities for all Manheim Township students.
